How does it
work?
High Speed Satellite (Wireless)
Internet Access is taking an Internet Gateway connection, sending a signal to a Satellite
orbiting the earth and transmitting it back down to a Broadband Receiver. The Receiver then sends the signal to a
wireless modem/router in your home; you can now access the Internet without any wires!
As
you can see by the diagram above,
there is no need to install
a cumbersome, ugly dish on your
rooftop.

Our
Satellite/High Speed Wireless Internet
connection provides a more reliable,
faster Internet connection than
any other service available
in Coosawattee. With just
a wireless modem/router
(smaller than a good novel!)
and a NIC card for every PC,
you can connect to the Internet
from anywhere in your home (within
100 feet of the wireless modem/router).
If
you have a laptop with a wireless card installed, you
won't even need a wireless router
to connect. Just turn
it on, login and surf the Internet.
You will even be able
to connect to the Internet at
the Recreation Center, Pool
or any other recreational facility
in Coosawattee, from almost
anywhere in the development!

Telephone
VoIP
is the ability to use your High
Speed Internet connection as
your phone line. Instead
of connecting your current telephone into
a phone jack, you would simply
plug it into the back of your wireless
modem/router. That's it,
Wireless Telephone!
You
would then be able to make UNLIMITED
LOCAL and LONG DISTANCE (within
the continential US and Canada)
phone calls for less than $25.00
per month! Instead of using
a phone line, you will now be
using your High Speed Internet
connection to call anywhere in
the US and Canada. You
can call land lines, cell phones
and 800 numbers just like you
do now, EXCEPT without the high
price of long distance calls.
